Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Grand Finals Results: The Judges !hould be Fired

My toddle's nanny is watching Pilipinas Got Talent on ABS-CBN since last night and I can't help but comment on the judges' ineptitude who seemed to trivialize the talent show to a showbiz talk show

I don't know about the third judge, but Kris Aquino and Ai-ai delas Alas don't deserve to be judges of the talent show, thinking people will notice.

How's being "gwapo" enough to win a talent show, such comment from a judge

Puso or awa, called "argumentum ad misericordiam" in logic got to do with talent? if you get swayed by awa for a contestant due to the contestant's pitiful background, you're not really a good judge

No premium on originality, i saw a boy trying hard to mimic Bruno Mars got high marks...for a show really looking for talent, a premium should be paid for originality, nothing "plakado" or just gaya-gaya, puto maya. you're looking for great talents, not "secong rate trying hard, copycats"

i might be harsh but it's the truth :(

I abhor non-original Filipino Music trying hard to call themselves OPM...sorry but that just don't cut it...

enough rant...who cares if it's the number one trend on twitter trending. IMHO, TV5's Talentadong Pinoy's cast are more talented bunch than Kapamilya's Pilipinas Got Talent

Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tale: Tokyo Mater Theme Song/MP3 Downloads

My son had just dumped Barney, Thomas the Tank Engine and Dora the Explorer for the latest DVD I bought for him: Cars Toon Mater's Tall Tales by Pixar

The DVD has an catchy theme song particularly the closing scene of Tokyo Mater where Mater became the Drift King.

I can't find the song/soundtrack on torrent and information on Pixar's official blog is sketchy. I found the song on YouTube and just converted the sound on it using an online TouTube to MP3 converter.

Now my son's dancing to the music from my mobile phone.

I thing I noticed is that the song's not kind of japanese, I can't understand a word despite knowing a few Nihingo words (studied it in college) so i think it's Korean (korean song for a japan setting of Cars?)

Rough Idle Toyota Vios: Vacuum Leak, ISCV, Throttle Body Cleaning, Oxygen Sensor or Brake Booster?

My dear toyota vios 1.5g, codename Sakura, is acting up lately wherever I apply the brakes until I shift to neutral

This only began last month when RPM on my tachometer drops to around 500 from the usual 700 RPM, engine shivers and the hood vibrates to the point of stalling but the RPM immediately recovers to 700.

I thought it's a leaking brake booster at first due to a Google search of symptoms and solutions but ruled it out since it's an intermittent problem not related to the brakes, even the air-conditioning unit is suspect.

First, I'll try a DIY throttle body cleaning using carburator cleaner (i'll have to buy one) then observe then also clean the ISCV (idle speed control valve, or IACV idle air control valve in some systems, servo for others), then have all hoses, valves and gaskets checked for leaks.

It's quite scary at times since I dread the day i stall in the middle of EDSA to be towed by MMDA and get a PhP1500 fine besides the scary "wrecker" experience.

Symptoms and solutions to follow once I solve it. :P

Adobe Flash Cause of Firefox Crash/Hang-up Problem

I'm an active OpenStreetMap volunteer mapper using Potlatch 2 online editor. What I noticed beginning from Firefox 3.6 was that my browser will always go slow, hang or crash for a few weeks already.

What I did was update my Firefox to the latest version even all Firefox add-ons and extensions but still the Firefox crash persisted.

I disabled all add-ons and extensions and now it's ok but I can't use Adobe Flash Player that I need to edit OSM Potlatch 2

Using the latest version of Firefox 4 and yet the problem returned after a few days of stable operation.

Solution? Fire up Google Chrome browser and no crashes. Even Internet Explorer 9 can do but don't recommend it from Microsoft.

I use Firefox for Blogger, IE9 for OpenStreetmap and Blog Facebook and Google Chrome for this.

My other other add-ons for Firefox that are currently enabled: SearchStatus, NoScript, Adblock, and DownThemAll
